The Sims 2 – Castaway actually plays quite similar to the previous Sims series. Then they realized that not only were there two islands but two more islands lying around, they had to explore all four of these islands and find a way to return to the mainland. After reaching there, they reunited with several other crew members.

Their mission is to build boats to the new location. They then discovered the second island, Aircraft Island, which is bigger and more interesting than the previous one.

When they woke up, they found themselves lost on a strange island and found books that record the goals that they need to follow if they want to survive and escape from here. Terrible, not worthy to be called a Sims game.A group of friends are travelling on the ship when a storm strikes everything and sinks the ship. Oh, and may biggest disappointment, no grim reaper. Its also got this weird hunting mechanic which was fun for about ten minutes. There's lots of islands where you have to go so you can see your friends and also lots of monkeys to have sex with. The stuff about the monkey is true by the way and is no where near as fun as it sounds. Then the player will have to find their friends while exploring a weird island trying to have sex with a monkey so they don't die of loneliness. I think they probably said something like, "hey guys! I have an idea! lets make a Sims game with a story! They can be on a boat and make their friends and then the boat will crash.
